Thank you so much for a lovely day on Saturday. It was great fun learning a new technique and meeting other people in the very friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the studio. I came away full of ideas and am looking forward to the Lino printing and etching workshops.  J Povey 6.10. 14
Thanks for the notes.  I really enjoyed Saturday too, it was fascinating exploring the two different collagraph techniques and lovely to work with such a nice group of people and with such a supportive tutor!  A. Butler 10. 10. 14
I have thoroughly enjoyed both my workshops so far and I am looking forward to the Lino Print & Dry Point Etching. It is great to learn new techniques and very exciting to see the results after turning the big wheel on the press. Good value especially if you book all four workshops.    Valerie 09/10/14

Discerning Eye; Online Catalogue

Hundreds of people attended The opening last week of this years Discerning Eye Exhibition. Despite the throng of people I managed to get a glimpse of some of the works spread around the three large gallery spaces and am looking forward to going back for a proper look before the show finishes on Sunday 23rd.

For those that can’t make it along to the Mall Galleries before it finishes you can view all the works on the Online Catalogue – very chuffed that an image of my work appears in the Catalogue hard copy. (thanks to Caryl Beach for the pic from the show)

All of the works are on the website and the Online gallery will stay active till the New Year. Also on display, as part of the Exhibition, is a group of large works selected for the Drawing Bursary award.

Discerning Eye Exhibition Thurs 13 – 23rd November

A recent work I completed over the summer titled ‘The Line between’ will be on show in this years Discerning Eye exhibition to be held at the Mall Galleries.

‘The exhibition comprises both publicly submitted works and works independently selected by six prominent figures from different areas of the art world: two artists, two collectors and two critics.
“Each selectors section is hung separately giving the impression of six small exhibitions within the whole”
‘This year our selectors chose 431 works by 265 artists from the open submission and added another 228 works from invited artists.”
Visiting times – 10 – 5 daily

Christmas Exhibition at Bircham Gallery

Delighted that Bircham Gallery in Holt, Norfolk will be showing some of my new work in their Christmas Exhibition starting Sat 8th Nov.

This work, using Print and Stitch on Book pages, explores ideas to do with forms of expression and how we reveal and conceal what we want to say.

Also on show a fabulous collection of work by some of the Gallery Artists, including Fellow Digswell Printmaker Ross Loveday.
